Well, with Jared eating the same thing from Subway every day and getting healthy as a result I can't see that being bad for you at all. It seems like you're getting all the nutrients needed. I agree that variety is the spice of life, but if you have to stick to your budget, then you're doing the best that you can. Maybe you can add a nutritional supplement of some sort if you feel you're lacking some type of nutrients.
I eat the same type of food everyday, but so far, nothing adverse has happened to me. I think that as long as you don't eat unhealthy food like fastfood everyday, then you have nothing to worry about.
I'm a wellness coach, and I coach people to take in the right amount of nutrients everyday, and there's a lot of nutrients we need to sustain energy in the long run. If what you eat is good for your body, why would it be bad to eat something differently? You're lucky you're getting the right amount of nutrients daily. Make sure your calories are reaching your metabolic burning rate so you replenish your body with the amount of food you need to take in.
I sure hope not. I get in these food cycles where each day I will have about the same thing to eat. I do this because I am watching my calories in an effort to lose weight. I don't see why it would matter if you are eating healthy food. The thing that I do have to watch out for is snacking in between. It is pretty simple not to at work because we do not have a cafeteria or vending machines. I would have to willfully get in my car and drive someplace to get a snack. I think pre selecting your meals is a good idea because you have a chance to decide not only the portion, but also the nutritional value. This might take some homework prior to making the meal, but if you do it enough it gets easy.
No, I don't think eating the same type of food everyday is bad for your health when its healthy food. Eating a healthy diet is good for you. I do think if you eat chocolate everyday though, that might not be good for you .
I haven't tried such thing, but I'd suppose at some point it'll be bad. Isn't one of life's rules to keep everything in moderation? I'd say it applies to eating the same type of food, too. Specially some foods like eggs and similar greasy ones.
No creatures eat the same thing every day, because "same" is an illusion of the mind - there is no same in nature. However, humans and all things that eat (which is everything), do consume similar things on a daily basis. For example, cows eat grass all day but sometimes they eat variations of grass like clovers or dandelions. Humans are no different, because even a living slave today who is fed a repetitive gruel every day, doesn't mean that man or woman eats the same content, same amount or absorbs it in the same way every day. But, eating the repetition of a food e.g. carrots, everyday may or may not have negative effects on a man or woman, because it's all dependent on how their body respond or tolerate such a diet.
If your diet consists of all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals that your body needs then eating the same foods everyday should not be a problem. However, this could prove difficult to do for some, as only eating a wide variety of different foods everyday will achieve sufficient amounts of nutrients. It might be difficult to fit all these foods in. The foods you listed as part of your diet seem quite healthy, and probably hit your macronutrient targets for each day. Although, you should definitely throw in more variety, particularly in the fruit and vegetable groups, as these are the most nutrient dense foods. Also, you may consider adding in some fish oils for their anti-inflammatory properties.
This is an interesting topic and i think the answer is yes and no. One extreme example of when it would not be good to eat the same food is supersize me the famous documentary by Morgan Spurlock. He ate nothing but McDonalds for 3 months to see what the effects would be. He ended up permanently damaging his health. Scientists are now saying that eating the same meal everyday can be good for you as it makes you consume less calories. This is due to the fact that you will become less interested in the food and consume smaller portions. This applies of course to healthy meals.
I would not say it is bad for your health but it is boring. You wan to like what you eat not just eat to keep your body going. Spice it up alittle, change something in your diet to make sure you are getting the right amount of protein, fiber and other vitamins needed daily.
Well, it depends on the foods you're putting into your body everyday. If the foods are healthy, I don't see how it could have an effect on your health. I try to switch up what I am eating everyday as it does become boring. I am a creature of habit by nature but I have adopted a more diverse array of food choices over the last few years to where it is still relatively healthy but different.
I think it is not bad for the health. It is actually good as long as you make sure that the foods you are serving and eating provide all your daily nutrient needs. Consult the food pyramid and make sure that they are present in your diet. Although sometimes it is also ok to have a different kinds of food in your table.
