Is Yakult Effective?

    For those who re unfamiliar with this product, the best way I could describe it is that it's kind of a yogurt type drink and it has a mostly sweet but tangy flavor, and I personally love it. Supposedly, it should help with your digestion and basically should help with your overall digestive health. I'd love to know what your thoughts on it are on whether or not it really is effective and if the calories per bottle are even worth the benefits, if any. Additionally, I'd like to hear of some alternatives if you think some other products would serve to be better for what this one claims as it's purpose.

    I used to drink it when I was a kid, but now not anymore. I didn't drink it long enough to see any difference to my body, so you might want to check out these 2 sites that both claim 2 sides to the benefits or lack thereof of Yakult, and just base your opinion from what you have read:
