Just switch to Chase

    I just switch to Chase I wanted a change from my boring community bank, it is great, the software is good and free bill pay, alot of services

    I like Chase too, but watch out for their fees. They will bump up your rate in a heart beat if you are late once. I like their site, customer service is great and they have so many branches. Right now I have a credit card with them, but did have a checking account with them in the past.

    I think it all depends on what you are looking for. Larger banks definitely add more convenience in terms of online banking, having more branches, etc. But a community bank tends to be more open when it comes to lending criteria and the like. Sometimes it just makes sense to keep things local as the cultures of one area may differ from another. I am from the south and have found that smaller banks tend to understand what the local people are like and can service their needs a bit better than larger, more commercial banks.
