I thought I was saving some money buying my son a pack of valentines on clearance last year. The only problem is I forgot where I put them. Guess it wasn't a cost cutting move if you have to buy them twice.
Now that sounds like something I would do! My kids are grown and gone now so I kind of miss those little Valentine's Day cards. I had never thought of getting them on clearance but I think it is a really good idea. I did have some of those Rubbermaid totes with lids to store holiday stuff. That way I always knew where to find them again. I probably would put all of the spring holidays into one tote. Maybe that is an idea that you could try as well.
