For affordable shoes, I'd say DSW. Though the last pair of boots I got from there were a disaster...I'll just blame the designer for that. Nordstrom occasionally has worthwhile sales. I got a pair of $80 pumps for $35. Can't complain.
There are quite a few websites with cute shoes. I like the shoes on Victoria's Secret and ShoeDazzle. At the same time, I don't ever buy shoes online. I learned my lesson years ago after buying shoes through a catalog. They were painful, didn't fit well, and didn't look the same on my feet. I have big feet that also happens to be flat. So, shoes are something that I have to try on and buy in person. So where do I buy my shoes? DSW, Macy's and Payless.
I buy shoes at DSW, Payless and The Avenue. All of these stores have great deals. What I do is wait for a two-for-one sale or a clearance. This way, I end up getting at least 30% off of the original price.
I don't normally buy shoes online because of the size problem... But I tried buying once through a friend selling online.. Normally, I love Parisian shoes and So Fab!
