I know about yogurt does wonders with people suffering from dandruff but as far Aloe Vera is concerned it keeps hair growing and provides them a new lease of life but it works slowly on dandruff. I have personally used and suggested yogurt especially a bit stale like 2-3 days old (out of fridge) for removing dandruff from hair but you must be ready for the stale smell which is not very pleasant for most. It really works well to remove dandruff bacteria.

I agree with you Ray, Yogurt smell is really not pleasant at all. My sister applies this to her hairs twice a week. It really not smells good but yes it is really effective for dandruff.
