I like Pringles because they aren't that greasy than Lays chips, and I also love the flavor of Pringles.
I love Lays as well as Pringles but Pringles definitely is the winner for me. The 'no one can eat just one' tag line for Lays holds true but most often I find that there are just too few chips in the bag. Pringles may be a little more expensive but you can be sure you get a can full.
I agree. It is the lack of greasiness that makes this a winner with me too. The plain, sea salted version is my favorite.
I go with the bag, but not Lay's. I will take Ruffles any day of the week. These are the superior chips and reign supreme above all other chips. The sour cream and cheddar makes me want to slap my mama! If I had to choose between Lay's and Pringles only then I would go with Pringles but...
I love Lays they taste way better than Pringles, their crunchier and crispier and that's how I like my chips. I do love the cheddar and sour cream Pringles, but if I had to choose it would be Lays all the way.
Potato chips are bad for you. From what I know, they have lots of fat and salt. If you have high blood pressure, the last thing you want to eat is potato chips. However, if you cannot resist, I think Pringles are less dangerous to your health than Lays.
I love both, and I eat both frequently, but I've got to go with Pringles as my favorite. I like the variety of flavors that both brands offer, and for sandwiches I prefer Lays, but as a general rule, I'm a Pringles guy. I can eat a can of Pringles pretty much any time of day, including breakfast (not proud of that fact - just being honest). If I had to give a reason, it would be that for me, Pringles are very consistent from one crisp to the next. I like that.
They're not so bad in recent years really. Different techniques and such to combat the health craze going about. I mean you barely have to wipe your hand every couple of handfuls like you use to with lays. And like pringles requires you to have water near by their so dry now. Still love them best though.
Pringles are probably my least favorite chip, they're way too processed. They're not even sliced, they are formed into shape. For all we know they could be using leftover scraps from potatoes to make them. They taste like they have extra starch/flour mixed into them too. I'm generally a fan of kettle cooked chips, they're firm and crispy and can hold up to dips, without being as heavy as ruffled chips either. And they seem to hold up the best before going stale. Lays chips are OK on their own, but they go stale fast and crumble too easily.
Ah yes, the old Pringles obsession. I do prefer them over lays. I have always loved the neat organized look of the Pringle, the taste, and the fact that I can reseal the can so easily. I also became addicted to the Pickle Flavored Pringle a couple of years ago. They are so awesome!
