Okay, I am sure we have all gotten the letters from Lending Tree in the mail. These letters are always promising that you have qualified for x amount of loan and all you have to do is fill out the online application. I have to say it is nice to see, but I will warn you that they will only include your income. They will not allow you to file a joint application at all. I did not know this when I applied and was approved for a consolidation loan and then denied because they would not include my spouses income as well.
Sounds like a scam to me. I avoid borrowing money at all costs unless its a really severe emergency.I think as Americans we borrow way too much money. Definitely not enough saving going on. I don't know whether or not Lending Tree is a good idea. Ive heard reviews both ways.
