I've come to learn that anyone can make some money on the side selling insurance covers to anyone you can. I'm interested in trying this out but I'd like to know if one should take some course of some sort to get me in the know?

You may want to go to your state license commission to see the requirements as each state has their own requirements. selling insurance can now be done by phone, depending on the type of insurance you would like to sell. There are several types of insurance, life, health, property and casualty, motor club which is not really insurance but a membership of services but you can make good money selling this type of service.
