I've seen a number of home-made movies on youtube and I wouldn't say that most of them were all that bad. By using a hidden camera, you could record one of your family members doing something stupid which you can laugh about later together as a family during the holidays. You may choose to share you video with the world or keep strictly private [for your family]. If you're creative enough, you can even shoot you own movie. Write a script and act . . . Have any of you considered making your own movie for your entertainment?
I think making home movies is a great idea but the challenge is that a lot of people that do decide to embark on this do not have the right kind of content so that creativity is there but the story lacks shape and lacks order. It would be all about better if home movies were a bit more organized and developed and the stories were much more entertaining. People would consider this sort of entertainment to be a whole lot better than what is available at the moment
No, never. And it's also something I won't do in my entire life. I am very timid for that. I can't be and actor. And I am not that creative to write a story or script for a film and to direct and create it even. It's not my forte. If I make one, I think it's just going to be very lousy. I don't have that artistic talent for this kind of art. Instead that I gain from it, I am just surely going to humiliate myself.
One of the things listed on my bucket list is creating a comedy movie. The main problem is, I don't have the cast I want and the plot that I want can't be filmed right away. Haha! Plus, I don't have the budget for all the equipment needed in shooting a movie. I want a movie that is well made; not just some crappy filmed youtube video that you'll forget soon after you've watched it.
