Hi guys, I finally got a chance to buy a house and since it's my first time I have a problem. The House was built in 2003 and a garage to study conversion was conducted two years later. The building completion Certificate for the whole house is missing but that of the garage can be found. The seller contacted the council to get the certificate but they couldn't get it.
The house is in perfect condition but the problem is I too may have a problem with the ownership of the house or when I decide to sell it.
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I suggest you don't invest a huge amount in a house with legal problems like a missing certificate. Wait a while and see if the certificates can be obtained by the original owner. Till then keep it on hold.
