I'm hunting for graphics card for upgrades and I came across a couple of cheap cards that I think are good. Now I'm no expert when it comes to computer parts so I want to know, if a card has more CUDA cores is it better that the ones that have more memory but less CUDA cores?

I'm no expert either but I would say it depends on what type of work you are doing. Dedicated video memory is the same as the RAM. You can have 32 GB's or RAM on your PC but it's not going to make it faster, it just means you have more room for information. CUDA cores I think are more important (again I'm not sure but this is based on what I understand working with my computer and upgrades) if you're looking for a smoother experience when it comes to games and probably 3D rendering if you're using a GPU renderer.
