Simply depositing your money in a bank would not generate a lot of revenue. If you want to have more return from your money, you need to invest it. Some investments that are available in banks are mutual funds wherein you would give your money to the bank wherein a certain fund manager would be the one who will be in charge of investing your money to a diversified pool of securities. You could also opt to simply open an account specifically for stock trading wherein you are in complete control of buying and selling securities. Which do you prefer - mutual funds or stock trading?
