I don't know if this works but apparently if you're buying large appliances from a local store, they will ship the product to your home free. I'm supposing the 'free shipping' fee is included in what you pay for the appliance. Supposing the store you buy from does offer to deliver your appliance would you negotiate for a discount if say, you can take the product home yourself in your pick up truck?
