Living in a hurricane belt, I've been tempted to purchase the Olde Brooklyn Lantern that's been heavily advertised on TV over the last several weeks. The bulbs are LED, which is a definite plus, and the commercial promises 100,000 hours of usage for the unit. Has anyone tried this product? I'm a bit wary of ASOT products, especially since I've been burned before! I'm also concerned that, for the price, the lantern is going to be a relatively cheap, lightweight plastic thing that breaks into pieces at a touch. I'm also worried about how quickly it might eat up those batteries! I'd love some feedback!
