Online casinos are always offering "money" for you to play. I wonder if these offers are real or if they are just a scam to take our money. Anyone with experience on this area?
From my limited understanding they offer you 'free' cash in the hopes that you'll loose it, get hooked, and then use your own hard earned cash to play some more. Considering that this practice is aimed at beginners, I think it works well for the casinos. You know how people are, always aiming for a quick buck and never knowing when to give up once they loose. Thus, not a scam but still aimed at making you loose money
I thought you need to somehow deposit a certain amount of your own money in order to be able to use the free cash offer?
I think the free cash offer is like an incentive for registering and depositing the needed money in order to play the casino. I don't believe they will be handing out free cash to anybody beginners or otherwise. I haven't heard or encountered any sites that give free cash just by registering to their site. If ever there are indeed casino sites that do this then I might be a little suspicious.
Yep, I also thought so, but a friend told me that in some casinos that does not happen, I just don't know if I believe him. What sense does it make to receive a bonus and withdraw it the next day? Just loss for the casino right?
Whatever their reasons are, I think prettycolors nailed it. Casinos are not charities. The money they give you is theirs and it's to be used solely to gamble with. When you play, chances are you'll win a little cash. And just like that . . . they will have had you. Like I always say, if you have money and time to waste then please find something useful that could help others.
I agree, just last week a friend of mine was really happy saying he won $25 on a freeroll, but when he tried to cash-out things were not as simple as that and he could not, so beware casinos...
