Yes, the outlet stores here do offer discounts but not that often. I do buy from them since I prefer to fit the clothes to be sure, since when I tried buying them online I end up buying clothes that are too small for me.
We have two outlet malls pretty close to where we live. We generally stick to certain stores at each outlet mall, such as New York & Company, Coleman Outfitters, Nike, Columbia, Adidas, Coach, etc. We usually go once or twice per year to purchase business-casual attire for work, as well as shoes. Sometimes we will pick up a few items on our list of Christmas gifts for some people, such as discounted toys or books, however, we generally shop in large supermarkets for those types of items.
Yup! Especially for me who's a sneakerhead (a person who loves to collect shoes and sneakers). There's been some Nike factory outlets that recently opened in the Philippines and I know lots of people who choose to buy from these outlets instead of the stores found in malls.
