Where do you shop most for party favors? Do you have a favorite place where you buy things to fill up goody bags for children's parties?

I think these are fun to make, but they can get expensive in a hurry, if you're not careful. Even buying things at dollar stores can add up fast, if you're paying a buck per item per bag. I like to find items that come 3 or more in a pack for a dollar. There are some cute things like activity books, little notepads, snacks and treats, pretty pencils, and lots of other stuff.

I use some favors as prizes for games, but I like to buy multi-packs of those as well. I have found some good deals at Dollar Tree (of course), Dollar General, and sometimes Big Lots. I just got packs of colored pencils at DG that were marked 75 cents, but then I found that they were half off the price marked. Can't beat that.
