I will start planting tomatoes soon, and I was wondering if anyone here knows which plants can be planted with tomatoes. By the way, we don't have four seasons, so we can plant vegetables all year round. Thanks in advance for all the suggestions!
You can plant veggies all year round! I wish I lived in such a place. But getting back on topic. The following plants, it has been established are good companion plants for tomatoes either because they share space well or for some other reason. You can plant your tomatoes with: - basil. - scallions. - onions. - kales/spinach/lettuce. - carrots. - peppers. And others . . .
Tomatoes tend to be best friends with basil. I also live in a region where you can plant this wonderful vegetable all year round. I have cherry tomatoes growing all over my patio. I am thinking about getting more ambitious and building some kind of structure for the bigger, juicier varieties. I love those fleshy, sweet ones that taste of sunshine and so much more...
