Apparently most people in America and elsewhere in the world have a "saving problem." Many of them either have no savings at all or they've got savings which would last them only six months should anything happen [like losing a job]. And why is saving so hard for most people? They spend more money than they earn and because of that they always owe money to credit card companies, banks where they get loans from, credit unions, etc, etc. Why do you think it's so hard for many people to live within their means?
It's simply because they buy what they can't afford and they justify it by thinking that they "need" it or they gotta have it. The best solution to that is to avoid going to the area in the mall where their "weakness" is. The same goes for browsing in online stores.
