I'm currently a Uverse subscriber, but have been having problems with the DVR for quite some time now. It has to be re-booted constantly, and AT&T doesn't seem interested in replacing it as long as the reset works. I've been looking into making a switch to Dish Network. Do any of you have their DVR? If so, do you have constant issues with freezing on the DVR? I know a small amount of this is normal with digital signals, but it shouldn't be constant. I may switch if the Dish Network DVR is better. Thanks!
One of the complaints I've heard from Dish Network subscribers is that in the winter time the snow and ice buildup on the dish can cause the signals to be poor. I would not want to be screwing around wiping off the dish all the time personally, especially if it is freezing cold outside and snowing hard.
