I recently had to file an auto claim and received an estimate for the repairs, my first. I was emailed a notice from the insurance company that my inspection was completed and that any repairs that 'were not covered' would by my responsibility. This I don't understand and would like some feedback.

What wouldn't be covered? If I pay my deductible every thing should be covered, right?

@MrsJones@MrsJones No, insurance is way rougher than certain people imagine. Note, an insurance company is sort of like a gambling casino. Note, they want certain people to win, but not everyone, cause, in that case, they would go out of business or at least lose money. In other words, the house has to win most of the time.

Anyhow, though, you shouldn't lose hope. There are ways to save money with insurance. Those ways involve lowering your risk factors. For instance, if you're a teen driver, then you could get lower premiums by taking a driver's education course.
