I am more than ready for a trip to the beach. Weeks from now, it's going to be summer in the tropics. I need a whole bunch of SPF lotions since I plan to swim the weeks away after a grand vacation outside of the country. I'm not one for skimpy clothing but I do love floral designs.

I'm not really concerned about my beach attire that much. I always only slap on a pair of trunks and some sunblock and I'm all set. What I'm concerned right now is getting back into my beach body shape. I have basically a few months to get rid of my baby love handles that I've acquired throughout winter.

I don't wear those kind of things to the beach. I wear a long sleeve silk shirt, long pants or skirt depending on how hot it is, a wide brim hat and generally keep at least my socks on most of the time. I burn easily and absolutely hate the greasy feel of the so called non-greasy sun screens, which don't even work near as well as tight weave clothing even if you reapply more often than recommended. So I just cover everything up and then I can relax and not worry about ruining my skin.

I never bought anything at AliExpress... some of my friends did but I'm a bit scared of that website. Anyway, I like wearing a bikini and some shorts and tanks for the beach, nothing too fancy!

I am not a big beach person, when I do go I only wear a pair of shorts and a cool top. The summer heat is still a few months off. When it does get hot the closes beach is about 3 hours away I plan to spend this summer traveling to some close by jazz festivals.
