I hope it's ok to put this here. I didn't see anywhere else good for a rebate question. Do you think rebates are worth it? Sometimes I buy a little more trying to qualify for one. At least once I forgot to mail it in. Just wondered how everryone uses rebates.
My favorite rebates are Staples Easy Rebates because they are really, truly easy! I almost always do their rebates for printer paper because I always need it and I can end up getting it for $1 a ream. I am never nervous about sending in a Staples rebate and I love that you can do them online, no forgetting to put something in the envelope or writing the address incorrectly and no need for a stamp! As far as whether or not rebates are worth it...I really think it depends upon the product. If it's something you'll use or need, then it's always worth it in my opinion!
I totally think rebates are worth it. For the past few months I've been buying a lot of things at Menard's that are free after rebate. I've received over 300 bucks in rebates. Menard's has grocery items, pet foods, laundry supplies, etc. so I plan to do a lot of shopping for that there this Fall. Some of the rebated items I bought I put in a yard sale and sold them. So I was 'paid' two ways. I made money off my purchase and I got a rebate for it too!
