Recalls

    Have you ever bought a baby or kid product and found out later there was a recall on it? I have never had that happen (mainly because I don't have kids) but I would be so upset to know that my child could have gotten seriously hurt by using a product that you depend on being safe.

    Isn't it kind of irresponsible for a company which makes toys not to test them to ascertain that they are safe for children before releasing them to the market?

    If that ever happened to me then quite obviously I'd very upset. I once read a news story about a 5-yr-old boy who was killed when a battery-powered toy malfunctioned. That the companies who make these toys are willing to sell dangerous toys implies that they care not about human life as long as they make money.
