    Depends on what you are going to use it for really. Both memory sockets are occupied, so it is likely that the comp wont be able to take more than 2 GB RAM, with 1GB in each socket. Also, if you are happy with the hard drive space and the absence of wifi, then this seems a good buy for that price. You can always upgrade the hard drive, DVD drive and add a wifi dongle if needed. That's my opinion. Maybe other hardware experts here can share their opinion too.

    Have you received the computer yet? For that price, less than $80 bucks, if it doesn't fall apart when you get it home, or if it didn't fall apart, and it came on and booted up, you might be OK. The "1 GB DDR RAM" and the "40 GB hard drive," you may want to add RAM and upgrade the hard drive at some point in the near future. Hopefully it will work out for you. However, as hard as we try to sidestep this financial law, it almost always comes back to bite us and that law is, "you get what you pay for and pay for what you get."
