Anyone done this without any issues or problems? Mine just crashed with a ? Symbol!
Attempting a reinstall which is strange as I never had any issues until this new OS came into play.

    Advice welcomed and needed.

Nope. You shouldn't have any difficulties reinstalling the current or last OS for Mac. I haven't experienced any of the current issues that analysts have been describing, but they should be taken care of within a few days. Apple is usually pretty good about getting these things ironed out and taken care of.

I hope so, except my start up disk and hard drive can't be found. I looked into some forums and it's not uncommon, but is a pain. I did a partial backup, but am bracing myself for losing data and passwords. I do hate relying on technology, but we need to for some things. I am assuming if a lot of people have had the same problem it can be fixed, hopefully quickly and not too expensively.
