I finally took the plunge and got a Roku. It's not quite what I thought it was, but I do love it. Good things: When I don't feel like watching TV, I can listen to Pandora without using my laptop and eating up memory. Any time I want to watch a movie, there are many to choose from. There are lots of channels - not all are great quality, but I still haven't been able to explore them all. If I miss TV shows, I can watch them on Hulu Plus. Bad things: You have to pay to be able to watch Netflix or some of the other channels Netflix streaming is not great - not a huge selection and they don't allow you to access your DVD queue if you switch to instant watch. That's annoying. You can watch some things on Amazon Prime, but they are expensive! $2 per episode? NO thanks! Anyone else have one? I recently moved and don't have cable, so that's why I got it.
