I was just wondering how many of us out there are effected by repairs or services that claim to save you money in the long run? I have seen quite a bit of these advertisements lately, and it just made me think of any that I have done and if they came to fruition or not. I did not really have any personal example, but we were considering redoing the roof a couple of years ago and the company claimed that with the savings from energy costs it would pay for itself in ten years, but I just did not believe it enough to make me say okay and figure that it would be free by any means. If it is true, though, than it is certainly a good idea to do these improvements, right? I guess it takes the ability to sit down and plan it out, and convince yourself that you are saving money in the long run, but that is certainly harder to some than it is to others. Where you do fall on this scale?
