A shoeshine person is one who shines shoes for a living. They are usually outside the mall or in bus terminals, offering their service for 25 cents. But some people I know, particularly our male friends that includes my husband, shine their own shoes. They say that it's like saving 50 cents a week so that's around $2 in a month. Not much but if you take into consideration the time spent while the shoe was being cleaned, well, I think they have a good logic in terms of frugality.
