Yes, definitely, plus there are some really cool parts out there that you just don't get with an off the shelf unit. I haven't looked in a long time, but I used to look around with the ex, and he'd find cases with special lights, different sized ones that would fit into places a standard case wouldn't, and he'd add extra fans in, as well. I'd build my own if I could, and make sure you watch your friends while they're building the various parts, and ask all the questions you can, so you can build others, you might just find you have an aptitude for it, and be able to use those skills making some extra money later on.
Building your own computer would most certainly cost less and save you more money. I would not recommend doing that unless you have decent experience with electronics. With the help of Youtube videos, assembling computers has become very easy but I still wouldn't risk it unless you were confident with your own abilities. I hope i helped you decide!.
That's true too. Some of the cases are very cool and also have much better ventilation. My husband likes the lights. It used to be blue, but now it's red. I'm more about the fans. Put as many in there as you can fit. Keep my system nice and cool and running smoothly. I'd love to be able to build my own. I've watched him enough that I should be able to build a computer by now, but I'm not that confident, haha.
It's a lot better to build your own PC. Because, you get to choose the parts, and you will save a lot of money this way. All companies who sell pre-built PCs want to make a buck on them, so they will charge the assembling of the PC and they will charge a bit more than each piece is worth. It's best to build your own. If you don't know how, the folks atLog Inare pretty helpful, and you will find help for all of your questions there.
