Being unemployed generally means not having insurance, so what does the bill mean for those who not only can neither afford insurance nor happen to be provided it?
I have been wondering this same thing. I have heard many people mention they are happy with people having to pay their way or get fined, but nobody seems to think about the fact that there are many people unemployed with exhausted benefits and there are also many people on welfare. I would guess that the government would have to issue the insurance, you can't get blood from a stone and if somebody has not been able to get a job there will be no money for them to pay for insurance.
This is a bit of an older topic, but I thought I'd clear up a couple things. People who are unemployed and 26 or younger can share their parent's health plan. People older than that and unemployed will be issued insurance by the government, they won't pay the fine because they can't afford it.
