Will you be waking up at 3 in the morning to go stand outside in the cold? Will you be dashing from store to store hoping against hope it's worth it? Will you risk pepper spray and elbows flying for the chance of getting something you probably don't need? Or will you stay home and save your money up for Digital Monday which generally allows you to order online for the same price? I know which choice I'll be making.
That is too funny! I am not a big Black Friday shopper and never could understand how some folks go crazy over it. I knew one lady that planned the whole day out and by the time she was done shopping, all of her Christmas present shopping was done. She would also get birthday gifts and presents for other occasions as well. She did save a lot of money but it took a ton of planning and multiple people shopping to actually pull it off.
I'm probably just going to wait for the frenzy to go down. If there's anything I really need then I may wake up early and go to the store. Nothing is usually so important that I need to waste hours of my life waiting in line for it.
No thank you. I have never done Black Friday and I never will. However, I do enjoy going on YouTube and watching savages beat each other just to get a five GB USB disk or a doll. It's hilarious to see what kind of society we have become. Up here in Canada, stores have started to embrace the whole Black Friday initiative. Unfortunately, we're just as dumb too!
You shouldn't taunt the animals... or the Americans neither. That said I did it exactly once because my mother was determined to make my childhood a complete horrorshow. Thank goodness I had attained my full adult size by then or I might have been mowed down and crushed by the lunatics looking to get cheap detergent and the like. That said nothing compares to the Tickle Me Elmo thing... That was wild.
The rush and the fuss are not for me. I prefer them both to die down, read the user reviews, then opt for an online or store purchase, depending on which is offering a better deal.
No way, waste of time imo. My sister does Black Friday though, I showed her one year that I saved about as much as she did just by shopping on Amazon and finding all the other promotions running leading up to Christmas. Plus I didn't waste any gas driving around back and forth to all these stores, got free shipping on most of the items, and didn't get sick from it being around a bunch of people with colds. Some of my friends bought a couple of Toshiba laptops on some Black Friday deal a few years ago because they were so marked down, the things ended up breaking down in about 6 months.
No thank you. I do not do crowds. I think if you which the sales you can get just as good a deal as black friday. The prices are not low, or maybe I just want them to be lower. Last year some stores started the sales at 10PM Thanksgiving night to get more people into the store.
Yeah, I think it's just one of those things where you find that because it's an "experience" you simply have to do it. I don't like crowds, I don't like missing out on sleep, I don't like unnesscery stupidity or aggression, and I don't like long lines. I therefore hate Black Friday and tend to make up the difference on Digital Monday. Works out really, really, really well.
Absolutely not. I have never gone out on that day and I don't plan on doing it now either. I know some of the deals can be great, but it's just not worth it to me. I would rather wait until those prices drop naturally or something instead. The fights and crazy waiting....only to miss out half the time anyway.... just doesn't sound like fun to me at all.
Without a doubt! I've been meaning to upgrade my gadgets this year and Black Friday is the best time to do it. I can't wait to actually get my hands on the new iPhone 5.
I don't go Black Friday shopping- or if I decide to venture out I wait until that afternoon/evening when things have calmed down. I'm not in a hurry to get any of the early early sales that run out of product. However, Kohls and such have good deals that last all day rather than a few hours.
