We don't call it soda or pop over here in England, we call it 'fizzy drinks'.

I used to drink soda when I was a kid but i haven't drunk it for many years now. It is full of sugar and artificial ingredients, very bad for your health.

I read that super-sized soda is banned in New York, is this true?

Here in NY, we call it soda as well. Sometimes we just say 'Coke' because it's one of the most popular soda drinks here.
I'm a big fan when it comes to soda, I would drink almost any flavor. My favorite would be Dr. Pepper though, I developed a love for it after I tried it for the first time.

I lived in Georgia when I was little, and everything was called a coke. I live in Illinois and they call it pop a lot here. I was down in GA at a family reunion, and I was like, " I need a pop." My cousin said "What's a pop?" Needless I had to change the word to soda, because she hadn't heard that term before.
