I think it is a great idea because it can be independent and you are not dependant on paying others for providing that. It would be absolutely weird if the country would tax such a thing and it would show how money hungry it is, but, I think these are great ideas because honestly they could save a lot, but you just have to make sure it doesn't break down, or have an alternative set up.
