In last year's so called mega fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, the cost of pay per view subscription on cable tv is $5. The advantage is the less commercial aside from being a live coverage unlike in ordinary free tv channel where the telecast is delayed by 1 hour and there are lots of commercials. But my husband never availed of that scheme. His reason is this - what is the difference in watching the fight now and watching it 1 hour later? Even if it is a meager $5 but that's still money you are throwing away for your caprice. Wise words indeed.
