I have become more and more impressed with the "in store" bakeries at Fresh and Easy, Vons and other supermarkets. I find the fresh baked loaves, muffins and cookies quite good and reasonably priced. Do you prefer the in store products or the factory "bagged" bread, cookies, etc?

I like the Walmart bakery baked goods more than brand name baked goods because they have a day old bakery rack where yesterday's cakes, pies, cookies and doughnuts are 40% off.
I'd rather get Walmart doughnuts for $2.39 than Dunkin Donuts for $5.99. To me, a loaf of Walmart bakery bread tastes better than the plasticky white Wonder bread in the bread aisle.

You are so right. If you think about it, if you buy the day old store baked they are stil fresher than those that come in bags from the national chains and probably traveled days to the store.

I agree, even the muffins and donuts are a deal and taste great.
