Have you ever been to one of those quickie store front hair salons like the ones in some Walmart stores? I think there used to be a place called Fantastic Sam's or something like that in the malls. What do you think of these places? Would you go for a quick trim to save money or would you avoid them? Is it worth the savings if you don't need anything drastic done, or would you rather spend the full amount to visit your regular stylist (that is, if you have a regular stylist)? What about touch ups for hair color? I think I'd be more likely to try one out for a trim than for hair color.
I don't see that there is anything special about them, except that might offer vastly lower prices than other places. Nonetheless, though, if you want a real complex haircut or if you want to dye the hair, then I read online that you should go more professional places. However, being a guy, I don't have any experience with such stuff, so I cannot give a first-hand account.
