I never remember to do things like this. I tend to use most of the storage capacity of my fridge for food, but small tubes of make up would not take up much room so it is something I could do. I honestly don't use make up products a lot though. However, when I do, it is pretty disgusting to find your nail polish or make up all clumpy and not useable.
