I know it seems like a great deal to get a phone at a reduced cost when you start/renew a cell phone contract. But is it really that great of a deal? Don't they just spread the cost of the phone over the length of the contract? If I buy a phone outright, will I get a cheaper monthly cost over the life of the contract?
