Microsoft needs a device to release alongside Windows 10 in order to boost its newest operating system. That's expected to release sometime in mid-2015, and many rumors have spread that the Surface Pro 4 will be released as the first computer or laptop running Windows 10 out of the box. There might even be two version of the Surface Pro of differing sizes with all of the Core i3, i5, and i7 options like the third generation.
