"Sweet Receipt" is back again for a limited time. This time you can buy your coffee in the morning, and then bring your receipt back in the afternoon. They will give you any of their baked goods for just 1.00. Most Starbucks serve their smallest coffee (called a, 'tall') for around 1.67. (This depends on location). And so if your Starbucks is on the way to work, you can pick up your coffee to go. Then, on your way home, while you are fighting rush hour traffic you can munch on one of their tasty baked treats. As of 2013, they came out with a new line of baked goods when they bought a San Francisco shop called, La Boulange. Most of their items are creations from this shop and so one may find croissants, muffins, and breakfast breads which are reminiscent of an artisan bakery. Not a bad way to start and end the day!
