At work, my room is on the fourth floor of the building. I take the stairs every day, all four flights! The only time that I take the elevator is if I have a lot of stuff to carry in with me that day, then I will take the elevator for fear of dropping stuff down the stairs. Taking the stairs is the first part of my work day, and by the time I reach the top my heart is pumping, my body's warmed up, and I'm ready for the day!
Like most everyone here it all depends on what is going on for the day or if I'm carrying something heavy to take the stairs or not. I must admit at times I do get lazy and take the elevator to get to where I'm going. I try to take the stairs when I'm up to it though for the benefit of better health.
