If you couldn't use a traditional bank, what would you do?

  1. Use a check cashing place

My bank is a nice distance from my house. A few years ago, I left my credit union in the red and got sick shortly after. Now I'm better but paying chexsystems when it may no longer be on record doesn't seem practical.

I'm in good with Paypal but the debit card is only good for withdrawals. Though I found a way to deposit cash, it means going to a dollar store or 7/11. I also got a Serve card, and after much searching found locations where I can deposit cash safely.

What type of card do you use?

I used to have a Payoneer Mastercard but it didn't sit well with me. I had to give up almost $5 for every withdrawal. I felt like a great chunk of my earnings was taken away from me so I decided to dispose of the card. I stopped dealing with Payoneer and started transferring my PayPal money directly to the ATM. It's much more convenient on my part and I haven't had any problems since then.
