The best thing I've ever eaten would have to be the BBQ Shrimp at Pascal's Manale Restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana. It's not what it sounds like - it's actually a dish of enormous, fresh Gulf shrimp (head and shell on) in a bubbling compound butter and Cajun spice broth. It is steamy, aromatic, very messy, and more delicious than anything I have ever encountered. The experience is just as enjoyable as the dish, and to put the icing on the cake, I had a half-dozen fresh Gulf oysters on the half-shell with spicy cocktail sauce as an appetizer. For me, it doesn't get any better than this.
so many things you can pick but the one thing i always go back to and can't get enough of is my las vegas sushi roll the best ever.
i love to eat pasta . i have eaten it in the restaurant. Really it was so yummy. I have eat pasta with dark chocolate shake...... yumyyyyyy i just love it
It's hard to judge because I have eaten a lot of different foods already and sometimes one tops another and that will be topped by another too and so on. Sometimes I forgot what this food taste's like. So I'll just say that the best food that I have ever eaten is the last food that I put in my mind and that is chicken garlic pizza from an Italian Resto here.
My fiancee and I used to go to an Indian place in Toronto. We had the greatest Saag Chicken ever in my life and was the tastiest thing that I've ever eaten. Unfortunately, as the months went by, the quality of the food went downhill until we eventually just had enough and haven't gone since. I'm missing some Saag Chicken!
I can understand your loss, I've had resturants that just sort of died after they became "popular" or whatever. It always hurts because they were so good and they became the goto spot. Ah, well maybe someone from the line will open up their own place and bring back the dish.
This is very true, and I'm glad you mentioned it. My experience has been that the small local joints that experience a little success almost always "get too big for their britches" and end up sending the entire operation into the tank. What I enjoy seeing is one of their line cooks going out on their own and pounding on their former employer. It's usually just a regular guy or girl who is good at spinning pizza, building burgers, or cooking steaks, baked potatoes, and a couple of good desserts.
The best recipe I've eaten so far is Quorn Lasagne which is a perfect vegetarian recipe made of quorn mince.
This is a tough question because there can never be only "one best food" in the world. But I think that lechon which is a local dish of ours is the best dish that I can eat over and over again without me ever getting sick of eating it.
The best thing I have ever eaten was penne paste with miserable to ate on it with shrimp and sushi around it. This was pretty much the best meal I ever had. It also contained a sauce that I was absolutely crazy for. It was so tasty that I could even smell it if I visualize it hard enough(haha).
When you are really hungry, everything tastes better! (Little money saving tip: never shop for food when you are hungry! You end up buying all sorts of random nonsense you have no real use for.) Anyway, the best thing I ever ate was probably my auntie's varenyky. They are basically an Eastern European version of dumplings I suppose. They were the savoury variety (filled with cheese). You can also make a dessert version if you fill them with something sweet. I have never had the dessert version though. I really liked all of my auntie's cooking: she made all sorts of great things when I visited (salads, stuffed peppers, stews, the list goes on and on...)
It very difficult to narrow it down to one thing! I would probably have to say some sort of noodle dish. It would probably have to be a toss up between curry pad thai with beef or really good spinach fettuccine with alfredo sauce.
The best meal I have ever eaten would probably be Thai beef Mussaman curry. The stewing steak is cooked for hours in a spicy and sweet coconut sauce until the sauce is very dark and rich. Definitely one of my favourite ever meals.
I love seafood, so I will start there. I guess my favorite and most unexpected like would be for catfish. I say unexpected because when I first thought of catfish I envisioned a bottom feeding yucky fish. But from the first time I tried it until now, it is still my favorite. I do not however like alot of breading on it. I prefer it blackened or broiled or grilled. And it is always great to have some brown rice on the side. But yes, most definetly catfish would be my favorite. And after that I would say shrimp. Again with no breading, just broiled with squeezed lemon.
