The movie business model is changing as we speak. Soon, movies will be available on VOD the same time as they arrive in theatres. What would you prefer? Obviously, in this scenario, the prices would be roughly the same (around $10). Or would you forego both and wait until the movie arrives on DVD?

That is a tough question. I enjoy the theaters sometimes, but VOD is tempting. If it is a movie that I am not too excited about, I would pass on both and wait til it comes out on DVD :)

I am not a big movie person, I usually wait until the movie comes out on DVD due to the cost. I can not say this would make a big change for me.

There is just something about watching in theatres that I cannot let go in favour of VOD.

It's just not the same as sitting in a crowded movie theatre, with a hundred other people enjoying your brand new movie on the giant screen! Some people may make the move and stop going to theatres altogether, but for me, there is just no substitute!
