How you see yourself will be how others see you. No matter how popular or liked you are, no one will judge you for the actions you make. I mean for the sake of the money, you are doing this because you want to have money for other things. Clothes are always used even if it is bought new. Imagine how many people try on the clothes in all of the stores? The end result is you saving money. Don't worry about what other people think. They should like you for who you are, not judge you for what you're trying to do for your life.

I've never even thought about being embarrassed going into a thrift store. I know that there are really awesome things in there and feel like I'm saving so much money every time I go in and find a name brand item that people pay so much money for at another store. Like other posters, the thrift store isn't my go to option for clothes, but if I need something in a pinch and I know I can find it there for cheap, you can find me in the Goodwill the next day!
