In my experience, there are promo seasons for accommodations and there are big discounts particularly for hotels abroad. Our latest discounted accommodation was in Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in April of last year. From the regular price of $200 per night, we got a bargain of $90 per night with free breakfast. It was a 5-star hotel so the cost was worth it. For this year, we have plane tickets for Bangkok, Thailand next month and Singapore in October. We are on a hunt for accommodation in Singapore since we already have a hotel in Bangkok courtesy of a friend who is a tour guide in Thailand.
I have capitalized on accommodations during a promo period and the savings and the facilities made me a very pleased person. I was able to enjoy the regular services at a greatly reduced rate. I am looking forward to capitalizing on similar deals this year, therefore, I am ensuring that I am prepared for the opportunity if it becomes available.
