I actually like superhero movies. I would choose that over any drama film anytime. Although some do not have very impressive storylines, the majority that I have watched range from ok to very good. The Spiderman and X-Men franchise are the most notable ones.
I agree with you, there are too many disappointing superhero movies nowadays. The problem is that most of them always goes the same way, nothing new or interesting. Superhero movies for me have become quite predictable.
