Has anyone else ever taken advantage of the train/Ferry combination to Dublin via Holyhead? It seems that the price of a combined ticket is virtually the same as a standard rail ticket to Holyhead itself. From Oxford To Dublin it's less than £40! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it.

no, i didn't travel through train for ireland. but i travelled through train, while travelling in train you can see many scenes which are so beautiful, but you can stop there and explore, so for that purpose i like road trips.
